[solved] A kinda silly ettiquette question (edited to add: I've finally introduced myself now!)
I have realized that I never introduced myself officially in the "Hi, my name is Joe" forum when I started. I just started posting my questions, answers and silly articles and never got around to actually writing an introduction. I am creeping up on 5000 posts (and will probably reach my 5000th post today.) Is it too late to introduce myself in that forum? I would kind of like to do so, even if it a little late.
EDITED TO ADD:
I've introduced myself now. The link is in my signature.
I never did introduce myself when I first joined, but I did a couple thousand posts later, and others have introduced themselves later, too. Everyone seemed okay with it. I would go ahead and write an introduction if you wanted do. There's always more to be learned about someone, new or not.
LOL, I don't see why not Hmm, there's no rule that says you can't, and I have seen people do that before. I never did so either, I just jumped right in. I never had the need to now that I've found my spot here on WI. Silly me didn't bother reading the message at the top
Sure, why not go ahead and introduce yourself! I did, but don't remember what I said, other than that, not know much about the site, put something in there I shouldn't have -- my name or something -- and got 'jumped' on right away. (they were nice about it -- but as I recall I waited quite a while before posting again!) So my thought is that it might be better to wait for a few posts (somewhat fewer than 5000 though) and then introduce yourself!
Sure you can! Many people go and introduce themselves-- even if they're NOT new. You could say how many webkinz you have, how long you've been a member-- for both WW and WI. Get people to know you better.
No it is never too late too introduce yourself. I introduced myself when i joined, but there are many people that i have welcomed hundreds and thousands of posts after they joined. Congrats on your "future" rainbows.
