Definitley, this is soo true. I only went to the DCT once and they (members) completely ignored me. Rep for you and thanks for saying this!

And yes, I agree.. Sometimes I say hi and ask a question and 1-2 people answer me, but most times I would like a direct lengthy converseation with someone, only to be fair.

I agree with you, Wikylo. WI is supposed to be a friendly community with members who want to have fun and talk to each other about different things. It's not supposed to be an exclusive group where people get ignored. Although I could see how posts get missed in th DCT, like others have said. I think it does happen, and not intentionally, either. I know I have almost missed posts on my own threads before and only saw it after I went back through and just happene to catch that certain post.

I agree it feels bad,but ,if you wanna join the conversation, join the club!
This is not meant to be rude..
I think that if people don't want others to join in their conversations, then they shouldn't be posting in the first place....they need to take it to PM, where others can't join in. Like I said above, it's not an exclusive community. WI is supposed to be a fun place to make new friends and have great talks with anybody and everybody. I actually talk to friends a lot through PMs and that's why...lol I want to have a conversation with just them.

I agree! This happens on the DCT usually to the people who don't spend their time on WI on there.

P.S.

If you think it's rude you can flag them for rudeness.

great topic!

When I first joined WI, I almost quit shortly there after bc I thought I couldnt get people to pay attention to me and I thought that must mean I wasnt wanted here. I stuck with it though and met some really wonderful people, so I am glad I did but....
There are still threads I avoid bc no matter how many times I post on them, I cant seem to get people to pay attention to me.
I try to acknowledge people especially when I see that no one else has. I mean yes some threads are really busy and some posts might get missed but over all i think we all need to do our best not to exclude anyone or make them feel unwanted or unwelcome

let me add- i dont think it is JUST the DCT that this happens on but in defense of the DCT it does move really fast sometimes so its hard to see them all.
