I have family that has served in overseas, and I am very appreciative that they did so...that all the soldiers did so. What they are doing to keep America and the other countries free can't be thanks enough. They are in my prayers every night.
My family and I would like to thank the men and women of the Armed Services. They have sacrificed so much and many have sacrified all for our country. Without them we would not be free. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
My family and I thank you for serving our country. Thank you for your time, your energy, your sacrifice. We are so proud of our soldiers, no matter where you serve, no matter your particular duty. Thank you for helping keep my family safe.
3 of my family members are currently in other countries fighting for us and I miss them so much, and I pray every day that they will come home safe. I especially thank
Lets remember this day as a happy day, the ending of World War I. Lets remember our veterans and thank them for their services. Lets think of the ones fighting for our country, whether that be in the millitary, the navy, the coast guard, a police officer, a firefighter, a guard, an FBI agent.... anybody ridking their lives to make this country a better place.
On Veteran’s Day we honor
Soldiers who protect our nation.
For their service as our warriors,
They deserve our admiration.
Some of them were drafted;
Some were volunteers;
For some it was just yesterday;
For some it’s been many years;
In the jungle or the desert,
On land or on the sea,
They did whatever was assigned
To produce a victory.
Some came back; some didn’t.
They defended us everywhere.
Some saw combat; some rode a desk;
All of them did their share.
No matter what the duty,
For low pay and little glory,
These soldiers gave up normal lives,
For duties mundane and gory.
Let every veteran be honored;
Don’t let politics get in the way.
Without them, freedom would have died;
What they did, we can’t repay.
We owe so much to them,
Who kept us safe from terror,
So when we see a uniform,
Let’s say "thank you" to every wearer. -Joanna
