When the May 2011 Webkinz pets went up for sale on Ameriwade's website this morning, many Webkinz players starting asking, "What happened to the Scottish Terrier?" Although it was previously announced that the Scottish Terrier would be included in the May batch, when the order system opened for retailers today, it was not included on the list. Because of this, it cannot be offered for pre-sale.
The mystery continues with the report Webkinz Insider member Emmakinz97 posted on Sunday that she had purchased two of the May 2011 Webkinz: the Scottish Terrier and the Grizzly Bear. As you can see from her pictures above, she does indeed have a tagged Scottish Terrier on hand.
How did her retailer get its hands on these pets so early? We may never know, but as soon as any information is revealed, we will bring it to you here.
UPDATE: We've heard officially from Ganz that the Scottish Terrier is a June release for 2011!
Re: Webkinz Players Wonder About Mystery Scottish Terrier
I am thinking UK exclusive wouldnt that be a real bummer lol. Oh well ebay is an option for me. And have lots of facebook friends all over if they did make this an exclusive to some other country or store for that matter later on.
