I am one of the "grown ups" with a Webkinz, as was my Mother, who died, suddenly last October. Over the years she was a wonderful Mom and then a fabulous friend. I am lucky enough to have a fabulous husband who saw to it that she had a comfortable, secure, happy home with us during her last years. We were even closer during those years and fortunately she was active to the end. As a Mom, she was the BEST, as a friend she was priceless. Like some others on the list this will be my first Mother's Day without her. Even as I miss her terribly I am grateful that she went quickly to a better place. And I still love her and miss her so-o-o-o-o much.
Thank you Mom, for all you did and all you were. You made the world a better place!
I love my mother for all the guidance, understanding and humor that she provided me with growing up. now that i am a mom myself, it makes my appreciation for her and her dedication grow deeper and warmer. My mother has always encouraged my creativity, my hard work and my wackiness.
Here is an example of understanding my mother has provided me with. when i was a teenager in the 80's, i was a bit rebellious. I cut my hair into a crazy mohawk that was about a foot and a half tall and spiked it up. when my mom got home that day, she walked in, looked at me -- walked around me and eyed my hair from every different angle. she cleared her throat and said, "well... it's interesting as art, but i'm not sure what to make of it as hair." and gave me a big hug.
I lost my Mama last year.
She was my Sun and my Moon.
I am a Mom and because of her
I teach my lil ones to love freely
never to judge....be true to yourself
and be proud of everything that you do
because it is a part of you.
My Mama made me the person I am
and my lil's who they are.
She will live on through all of us.
I love you Mama!
I love my mom because she still would do anything for her kids, we range from 43-35 now, and she has 8 grandkids. She still works full time, and tirelesly continues to give of herself daily to us. I only pray I can be just as amazing to my own children. In this day and age when everyone thinks Me Me Me, I was raised my kids come first. Just as my mom did for me. No child asked to be born, I am proud my mom raised me to know what matters most!! Happy Mother's Day Mom!!!!
I have to best mom. She is always there for me and I feel like I can talk to her about anything. She puts herself aside so that my brother and I can do the things that we want to do. I am very thankful for my mom because she is the best!
