Thank you to all of the veterans that have served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the wonderful soldiers who are now serving a very heartfelt thanks is the least we can give, everyone should thank a a soldier or veteran today, their service enables our freedom to enjoy the things most of us take for granted. Thank you .
I thank every veteran who has ever served us. I thank them for protecting them. My grandpa used to be one. I also thank him. I thank EVERYONE who ever has supported them, or thanked them, for no specific reason except for appreciation. I thank everyone who has helped the veterans, cared for them, prayed for them, etc... very much. I honor every single veteran. Even if someone thinks they are unimportant, they are. Every veteran helps us in ways we can't even imagine. I respect them. I've written letters to them too, and I hope that we all will see the war happening, and seeing how much we'd be in trouble if it weren't for the veterans. And even for the ones who are dead, thank them and pray for them because they helped us in many of the wars. There is explanation why the veterans help us and fight in the war. Because they love the people they fight for and their families. We should all love the veterans too because they help keep us safe. I support all things that help veterans, for they really do. Because today, they are helping veterans get jobs. I really like that idea because we really should respect them. I bet most of us do. and please everyone, pray for the veterans and their families. Today and the rest of your life. and all I can say for reading this and possibly following what I'm saying is THANK YOU. I bet the veterans thank you too.
P.S: Something important that I forgot to say clearly. THANK YOU VETERANS FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY!
Gratitude is something that really can't be expressed with simple words. As many times as I may say thank you, it can't include the sincerity in my eyes, the joy in my smile, or the love in my hug. You give so much. And for some, you have given so much that it is your families who receive the thanks, as you are no longer able. It is a costly thing, this freedom we all enjoy. It is hard to comprehend why other countries choose to withold freedom from their citizens. Perhaps someday, we will live in a world without war. Until then, it is the courageous people such as yourself who make it possible for at least some of the world to be a better, safer place filled with freedom and hope. For this I say, with deepest sincerity, Thank You!

Today, I remember what has been passed on to me about the Battle of Beaumont Hamel, and the boys who courageously fought on the front line, if not for long, for their families, their welfare and their country. The boys on the front line weren't even mostly Canadian citizens as their province hadn't joined Canada yet, but they were the first to go. The boys from the Royal Newfoundland Regiment were some of the bravest souls to ever grace this earth. When I was a little child, these soldiers were super human to me. Now that I am older, I know that they weren't. They were like us in many ways: they were scared and homesick, their parents back home praying for their safe return. They had girlfriends and wives and children. The part that gets me though is that some of those boys who died were too young even for a girlfriend, yet they were brave enough to try to win a war for their country. I wish they could somehow know how proud and thankful we are of them, and every soldier who stands up for their country. Here's to the bravest people in the world, the ones who stand up for those who cannot. Lest we forget.
