The best present I ever gave was not something physical. One night a friend called that her dog was loose. She was looking all over for him. I got in my car and started to drive to her house so I could help. I found the dog who came to me because he knew me. I called my friend on her cell phone and she came right away and got him. She had him for many years after that and he brought her lots of happiness. I'm glad I was able to help my friend this way.
I love give the gift of time I give time to my godson's parents or my niece/nephew's parents by taking the kids out for a special afternoon or evening. It gives the parents time to themselves to unwind and relax, and it also gives the kids time too - a special time out just themselves!
Well, I don't have one specific "Best gift I gave" but I remember the Christmas when I was 9. That year I made or bought a gift with my own money for every single cousin, aunt, uncle, grandparent, sibling or parent! We had a program/fundraiser in my school where you could also buy gifts for cheaper amounts, and that was helpful with my gift-giving too! I carefully chose the perfect gift for everyone and when Christmas came, everyone was really happy with my gifts, and I was really happy that I could make them happy!
One year, when I was really little, my dad helped me pick a picture frame, then he took my picture in front of our Christmas tree, then we put the picture in the frame, and I gave it to my mom for Christmas
