I agree it is confusing. We bought our family membership on April 28th and were given the May gift box. After phoning GANZ and having them fix the error, we now find out we have to wait to receive our May gift box until the 28th. We are a bit concerned, what if they make that error again? Are we going to have to keep calling and having our account fixed every month. Wish they would just do everyone on the 1st of the month and be done with it.

I called on this issue also. A Ganz rep. told me that for May, you'd get the gift box on the anniversary date of when you 1st joined in April. Then, starting June 1st, each gift box would be given on the 1 st of each month.

Oh my goodness, I forgot to worry when I didn't see my box in the dock. I'll like getting it on the anniversary day so it is something to look forward to. Remember -- Webkinz is a fun thing, so don't stress out over the rules Ganz sets. Have a happy day!

I called Ganz in a panic before reading this thread and it was explained to me that for May, you get the gift on the date you purchased it in April. Startng in June and every month after you will get the gift on the 1st of each month. My sister and I each called, spoke to a different rep and got the same information.

Uh... I am really surprised they didn't think that people would question where the goodies were. I don't recall reading a specific date. I just don't get it when companies don't think out possible variables, and therefore cause unnecessary time to be wasted for their employees.

I am just glad they explained it all. I guess it really makes sense, If you have an annual membership I guess it should expire 12 months from the day you got it not the first day of the month in which you join. There are other benefits, daily activities that should be allowed for a true 365 day membership.
Again, just not real clear at the beginnig. Makes sense tho, which ever way they decide to go, can't make everybody happy all the time Might as well just not try.

Another thought, strictly a programming issue. Ganz may have planned the 30 day issue for May's gift so they could have time to get the list of "Charter" members in a database. Sure many more people subscribed from April 1- 30 than will during the month of May. Maybe they were just trying to avoid glitches and problems. Think they are really doing a great job and do try to please!
