Ganz is not dealing honestly with the buying public. The family deluxe option gave us 5 accounts deluxe for one year at $45. They said they added the new $2/month deluxe membership option in answer to customers request for a cheaper membership option? This new option does not include estore points or the monthly gift box but will end up costing $120/year if we use it to keep the same 5 accounts deluxe that we had on the family option. And NO MONTHLY GIFT BOXES?! They need customer feed back. You can email them from the bottom of the Ganz Estore page or call the customer service representatives at this number 1-888-818-8770. Mon-Fri 9am-6pm EST.

I'm very upset that they took away the Family membership. The yearly membership of $45 per account is not worth it. I'm not paying $90 for me and my kid. Its bad enough that we already spend so much money on the pets. The best thing about the deluxe is the monthly gift box so the $2.00 a month is not very feasible without the giftbox. $45 for a family i'm willing to pay, but per account is ridiculous and greedy on Ganz's part.

LOL Guess what? you're going to be explaining this for a LONG time to come because of all the complaints going to be made, this is totally unacceptable. You can join us over at this thread on Webkinz Post to launch a petition and official complaint to Ganz. This is an instance of Ganz greediness that can not be allowed to happen. I will not be renewing, or purchasing ANYTHING from Ganz until they give us back our Family Membership packages

Sick of explaining it? How nice of them! Good move Ganz, losing your customers by the bunches. Hope they are happy Cause i'm ticked about them removing the family membership.

well . . . ganz has reached new depth of cheapness. to bad the deluxe membership for the whole family was a great thing. we won't be renewing that's for sure.

I'm still a disgruntled customer and slowly been cutting back spending my cash on Ganz products. This week has really alienated me. IF there was any confusion about the family acct at the estore, they could have made an effort to clear it up. Deleting it and taking away benefits by offering a watered down $2 version is ludicrous. Do they not crunch numbers? Does this make sense to them?

They are so fortunate people want to pay $12.50 for a virtual item. I've done it a few times and then thought, "what am I doing??!!" ... it really should be no more than $5. They need to look at other games like Club Penguin and Free Realms and look at what they charge for similar items. I pay about $5-6 monthly club fees for my kids and then an average of $5 for extra goodies. And that's it. FR even doubles your cash cards several times a year. Somehow they manage to make a profit. Ganz is like a bottomless spending pit.

I realize I am ranting. I just want to understand their thinking about the average customer and how much we should be spending to be able to enjoy all parts of the account.

A regular membership gets you $42 in estore points - so the "cost" is only $3 - if you were planning to buy stuff at the estore - and I could justify that to myself - all the kids got monthly boxes plus an estore pet for everyone.

$2 just buys access to deluxe activities - no estore points, no gift boxes - just a waste of $24 each!

Silly Ganz - did they think I would go out and buy Webkinz day pet this weekend now that I know all our accounts will be expiring in a year?

I just got off the phone with the Estore customer service and they said the same thing to me. "Our customer studies have shown the Family Deluxe was confusing the customers so we decided to remove it." That is insulting! It is confusing to have a discounted family package??? So I guess Ganz's ignorant, and easily confused customers understand things more clearly if they manipulate the membership to charge us five times what we were paying for the same benefit...or maybe they are just hoping we are easily confused.
