Beckyntrevor, I agree, we shouldn't have to call to get what was promised us. That's $90 US, which when converted to Canadian dollars is like $900 CDN. LOL Anyway, I was told that I would only receive 3000 points because it goes by email address. If you bought more than one deluxe membership but used the same email addresses to sign up for all of them, all you get is 3000 points. So the math is not 3000 points per membership, it's 3000 points per unique email address. How do you like them apples ??

What needs to be understood here I think - Is that we BUY this GAME, one code at a time!!!
WE BUY IT!!

The "gift" is cool, these are the things that make the game run. WE buy, the invention of new and facinating ideas to play this game, these are not just "gifts" we have paid for these features over and over again already, or no one would even buy Webkinz!

Ganz has to come up with new ideas, fun games, "gifts" if you will, to sell the pets, to sell the game!

This is a BUSINESS not an act of generosity!!!!!

When things run smooth in Webkinz world it's a pleasant surprise....when things run amok it's expected.

We've got all but one gift but that's not a problem - it's been like a Christmas scavenger hunt as the kids open their accounts to see if the present is there yet.

I really appreciate how great Ganz has been trying to fix this problem - they likely had to call in programmers from their Christmas dinners to go through the process of manually adding a gift to *every* account that was visited on Christmas day - a mindblowing piece of work.

I know how frustrating this may be to many people - but in the end all it means for us is a small delay waiting for a virtual hat, wish token and small gift. The fun for my kids was having a chance to sit on Santa's lap and choose a toy.

I'm guessing that giving each child their "selected" toy is what complicated the delivery.

What I appreciate the most was how quick Ganz was to communicate that they knew about the problem and were working hard to fix it - and how quickly the gifts started flowing.

I appreciate the WI community that kept me in touch with what was going on so I knew that others were experiencing the missing gifts.

What I would love is a "Parents only" spot on WW Newz where Ganz could update us in english (no stories about snow storms) about what the real problem was and their progress fixing it (eg it would be good to know that they would be putting gifts into accounts that were logged into in the am but not for the rest of the day so people could stop checking their WW accounts worried about missing the gifts).

My suggestion for Ganz is that they need a test server with the time set 48 hours ahead of the rest of WW world - where a select but substantial group of WW members have test accounts. I'm sure a lot of WI members would volunteer if the accounts were free! Ganz programmers keep adding lots of great new features but almost all of them crash or have glitches the first time they appear in WW.

Ghosts, missing gifts, crashing Kinz parks, games that appear and disappear, activities that won't run could all be tested by users if they would simply assign one small server to act as a beta test site.

Perhaps this glitch will be the one that creates change inside Ganz - and if they need help fixing things they could always ask the WI staff - they are always on the ball!

Well, last nite at about 11:15 my son got his Christmas box, but as of 8:10 AM this morning, I never got mine. And while I may be an adult who's supposed to be able to just deal with it, it's the idea that irritates me. Go stand in line, see SantaKinz, even pick what you want, then wait till Christmas -- to get nothing. I agree with so many of the comments about Ganz getting plenty of our money and still all the glitches, one after another. In truth, I'm not real happy about how all the really neat things for pets and rooms are now in the Ganz eStore where they have to be paid for, and those of us who can't afford to keep buying all those things go without out. I also don't like their eStore points system at all. Used to be if I wanted an item I just the amount of the item and got the code but now, now we have to buy blocks of points -- so to get a virtual pet that's worth $12.50 I have to spend $20.00 for two blocks of points, and have a ton left over? That's stupid. My son and I didn't get the Mistletoe Mouse this year because I wasn't spending $30.00 to get two virtual pets and extra points I didn't even want. There was nothing wrong with the old system, was there? Or is it Ganz' way of sucking more money out of us?
I'm just disgusted.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?!? oh no no no. . . that is SO WRONG of them!

GUYS! What if they are doing that to the GIFTS too!? And that's why we aren't getting them! lol
