Ok, they are getting carried away with having EVERYTHING in the estore.
I agree. I have access to the estore, but I refuse to be drawn in to all these "new additions" that can't even be kinz posted or traded. I have bought in the past, but limit it now to the odd new pet, or the clothing items. At least Ganz is not totally forgetting the "regular account holders", as they are introducing the odd new theme here and there. I would have loved to have seen something like the Spa theme in the regular account - not estore!! I guess we can "rant" all we want, they wouldn't listen much anyways, especially when their bottom line is in the equation.
You know the most recent survey that is being asked is about whether we buy the pets for the item that comes with it, or if it's because of the plush itself. A retail plush is $10 -$15 and is even more for signature plush. If you mostly care about the items, then they can provide you with cool items for half of the cost. That's not really a bad concept.
I have over a hundred pets entered right now and bags more of pets that I bought but haven't entered, because I already got their items in the trading rooms. There's not much incentive for me to enter them until they become Pet of the Month and get an extra prize.
My main complaint with the estore is that they aren't tradeable. If they became tradeable, they'd become more valuable in the trading room and quite frankly, I think they'd sell more in the estore. Their program isn't consistent if you think about it. You can buy a plush from the estore and their pet item is tradeable, but you can't trade single items you buy.
So right now, when I see these rooms themes, they don't really get me excited. Even the new Chinese theme, which is one the most detailed furniture themes I've seen in WW, I don't think I'll buy. Now if they become tradeable, I'll be first in line to buy.
I like that shelf, but I'm sad it's e-store. I am cutting way back on E-store this year, because it just doesn't make sence to me that you can't trade or kinz post those items.
I agree completely. I don't mind buying estore points but I draw the line at spending them on anything I can't trade or move to whichever acct I want it on. I like this bookshelf but, like a lot of the valentine items I would have loved to buy, Ganz telling me what I can or can't do with something that costs real money...stops me from spending real money.
