Plants you don't water will grow weeds more quickly. But if you weed every day, the weeds won't get in the way of their growth. And it takes less clicks to rake weeds on a few extra plants, than it does to water every single plant.
If you'll be away for a few days, then it might be good to water, to slow down the weeds until you get back.
Thanks for that tidbit. All I've been doing for a while is weeding and harvesting, and my plants grow at the same pace as when I used to water. It's so much faster not watering!
But I thought I was getting a few more weeds lately, and now I know why. I'll start watering from now if I know I'll be gone a few days, because I think the weeds stop the growth cycle until they are raked.
I don't mind the weather changes in WW, in fact, I rather like them. However, I do notice a decided speed decrease in gardening when it is raining, to the point that I won't do it if it's raining. Other than that, I like it just fine! I wonder if they're going to start coming out with gardening tools where you can rake the leaves for a day and make some kinzcash? That would be cool ... !
My girls and I love the new changes in Webkinz World's outdoors -- great graphics and they really do add to the fun outdoors. The rain does slow things down a bit, but it doesn't bother me. My Webkinz all have boots, slickers and hats so that they won't get wet while they're gardening.
One thing I'd love to see in the W-Shop is season-appropriate trees for sale. There are some great flowering spring trees and some nice summer trees, but it would be pretty cool to be able to buy autumn trees with colorful leaves and bare-branched trees for a winter landscape.
I do have one of the seasonal trees from the e-store and it is really, really cute and clever.
