Autism has become a very big part of our life since our grandson was found to have a form of Autism. It was very hard for us to accept this beautiful boy had something we knew nothing about. It has also been so hard on him because it is something people can not see. We all need to be a lot more understanding to children, we have found a lot of cruel people who refuse to understand or take the time. My grandson has made us more understanding, patient, and more in love with him. He has a hard role ahead of him but with the help of his doctors and an understanding of Autism we will all go along way. He has given us Love. I pray in his lifetime there will be an easy fix for this but if not he will fight. I would like more people to try and understand exactly was Autism is. Think before they talk and stop thinking there is a bad child. With education they may understand. I also want them to know that it might not be there child but some day it may be there grandchild. These children our Love. Thank you
THANK YOU for making this front page news! As a mother of a child with Autism, I can not begin to tell you how much this touches me. I have been crying all morning after reading this and all of the beautiful entries in Electrabuzz's contest.
I am so excited for the Autism Parades and other Autism Awareness events that are planned for WW and WI in the coming weeks. I have never been prouder to be part of this wonderful, amazing community!
To everybody who helps to spread Autism Awareness in WW or here on WI, I am very touched by your efforts, and I hope to see you ALL at one of the parades in April!
