I think that may be it, yes. BUT I am thinking the answer that they provided is more of an OZ/Australia hint. Aurora AUSTRALIS in the south...hmmm

So there is no one right answer, as long as it fits the clues! It sounds like we might be writing their next story, so make it interesting. Now I really hope they post the answer!

Missing Curios (I think there's 5, but I only have 3 definite answers I'm giving so far)
Ultimate Experiment Station
Knight of the Round Armor
Ornate Egyptian Side Table

Locations of Missing Curios (I'm stumped as to what goes where!)

Party House in Home Before Dark Game
Barking Mad Mine
Fluffington's Vault
Charm Forest
Goober's Lab

Thief/Thieves

Crows

Normally Found

Pumpkin Patch Protector

Items Needed

Ruby Slippers
Water
Moon Lamp

Here are the clues I'm still confused about:

TIARA - I'm leaning a little toward thinking this is the Charms Tiara and that it's a missing curio instead of the W Shop tiara as an item needed.

Polka Dot Eyes and Crossed Ts - no idea

Southern Hemisphere (Australia & New Zealand) - mentioned so often in Quizzy's Corner since the hunt started that it has me wondering

Numbers - 20 (from activities clues and Quizzy's corner)
40 (from game of the day)
35 (or 3 and 5) (from Quizzy's corner and activities giveaways)

Not a Cookie Cutter - Usually this expression refers to something that's not the usual thing, not the same as everything else. So if someone says "It's not a cookie cutter house" they mean it's custom built, not prefabbed. I think this clue is along those lines, but I can't think what it refers to.

Figure - I like the idea someone had about this often used word referring to the figurines, but I can't think how they fit in. My best guess is that they're an item needed, since if they're the thieves you have to say where they're normally from, and it doesn't make sense for them to be missing curios.

Good luck to everyone! I think I'll be up late trying to "figure" this out!

:bas: Rumpy :gor: Dian

This is really good, although I still haven't ruled out the Thoughtful Think Tank. The problem I'm having is this: I can't figure out where Sparky the nephew fits in. I really fell he's involved, but he's not a curio, not an item Arte needs to solve it...if he's a thief, it must be to get Arte and Doug back together. Aaaargh!

I posted a clue as to what I think might be involved earlier. Has anyone figured it out: T.C.C.? I'm not sure as to if it is significant or not, just an idea that I found. Great work Thumper430, that was a big help! I think the two others are: Thoughtful think Tank, and the Dream-O-meter bed!Great work everyone! I'll post the answer to what I think might be involved tomorrow morning! Keep thinking. One more clue: Mamma Mia!

---------- mrc0705 added 37 Minutes and 54 Seconds later ----------

Okay everyone; I have decided to post my thoughts on what may be involved in this early. In the clue: You could be sad; you might feel mad ... but just sparkle brightly and be glad! Well, in the clubhouse reading room, there are two sparkly plants next to the black couches; both are near books about Arte! I think this may be involved, but i'm starting to think that this is about the red ruby slippers I'm not fully sure... and the other thing was; in the W tales in the newz paper, in chapter five of the Color Catashtrophe, there is a blackboard in the picture. It reads Ma2 (Ma to the 2nd power=Mama) and then it says E=MA, when re arranged, it reads Mea (Very close to 'Mia' said in another clue: Mama mia! Even Mama says that is not a cookie cutter! Just a coincidence? I dont know, well now I'm starting to think that that clue has to do with the party house in Home before Dark; as said in Thumper334's clue! Confusing! Share your thoughts with me? Only one day left to figure this whole thing out! Let's all work together!

---------- mrc0705 added 4 Minutes and 37 Seconds later ----------

Oh my! One more thing ( I know I have posted a lot!) The latest clue: Pretty unsure? Maybe. Possibly knowing if new friends are really marvelous? You will figure it out. PUMPKIN! As in the pumpkin patch protector game as we thought! (And it's todays featured game!)

I don't remember anyone figuring out what TCC means. Yes, I like Thoughtful Think Tank, Dream-o-meter bed, Round Armor, and Jewel Studded Coffee Table.

Thoughtful Think Tank because of all the brain clues.
Dream-o-meter bed because of night time and moon and dream clues.
Round Armor because of the Knight and tin clues.
Jeweled Studded Coffee Table because of all the sparkle and jewel clues.

That may be too many, but I don't know where to cut.

Thoughtful Think Tank located on the Moon
Dream-o-meter bed located under the desk in Ms. Cowline's office Moo
Round Armor located in the Home Before Dark Party House
Jeweled Studded Coffee Table located in the (one of the dog reference) mine (could be Egyptian Bed which hasn't been on sale for ever and has jewels)
(I have switched all of these dozens of ways)

The Crows are the thieves they are normally found in the Pumpkin Patch

Round and round I go. Are we getting nearer? I really don't know.

Arte needs bottled water, Emerald rainboots, scarecrow to scare the crows away from the stolen curios

I don't think I have really used the COOKie cutter clue. It could just be pointing to the Trickle Treackle which points to pumpkins which points to pumpkin patch, which points to CROWS

Oh, I just thought about the fabulous clues pointing to the 4 Charm forests.....

Also, there is the Arte and the empty packing box picture with straw or hair on floor. I once thought that the new figurines were shipped in that box and when Arte went to unpack them, they were gone. It is perhaps straw on the floor from the packing.

Well done, all in all, but where in the world did this TCC come from? how did they find the clue? OHHH The Cookie Cutter...yeah
Chef Gazpacho is working on two courses, right? The first is a Trickle Treacle, the second an Icy Frosty, third: Aquarus Jelly, fourth: Rice Pudding and Fifth: Atomicolicious Punch.
He's been busy preparing first and second courses, but focusing more on the FIRST. That is dish that uses pumpkin as one of its ingredients, along with pickles and cola. The second is an Icy Frosty, made of ice cream, water and watermelon. When he went to cut the watermelon someone said the rind looked like a cookie cutter...He said no, it looks like a TIARA, it's too big...What do you think, Mama? "Mamma Mia," Mama said, 'That is not a cookie cutter!'

Here is the original post where they first mention it. No idea where it came from. Could it stand for Trading Card Challenge?

What if the crows are the only thieves, but they hid the stolen curios in 3, 4, 5 different locations? It depends on how many actual missing curios there are.

What if Arte needs to use all the items on the crows, but in different locations(not at one time):
Ruby Slippers
Scarecrow
Bottle of water
Raincoat
Emerald rain Boots
Moon Lamp
Tiara
Arte would need something to distract/scare them:water, scarecrow etc., but he needs something to give them as well, like an exchange for the stolen curio?
The crows would like the Ruby Slippers because they're shiny/sparkly.
They would like the raincoat to keep dry in future encounters with water.
They would like the Tiara also because it's shiny/sparkly.
The Moon Lamp-? because of the Farmer cow and they could use it in the dark to steal pumpkins???

As far as I know the TCC stands for Trading Card Challenge.
