I've noticed that a lot of the Series 1 items aren't so rare anymore. Is there any reason to buy Series One if you're not heavily invested in either?

Oh...and before anyone thinks I'm a strange parent, both my kids are Autistic and value incentives much differently from typical children. Trading card rare items have been a beautiful addition to our lives. As have Webkinz actually...they can relate and understand virtual pets and their needs so much easier than actual living things. My daughter has just made leaps and bounds since we introduced them to webkinz.

So...with so much joy riding on those little codes, I always feel slightly irked when their feature code gives them cash...or when they get an item you can pick up in the wee hours at the curio shop...like a rainbow wig.

Wow what a great idea. You are an . I teach special needs kids and some are austic, some have multiple disabilities. I can't get webkinz on the computer at school (something about it being a chat room) but maybe the cards are good idea for incentives. I'm going to see if the Superintendent will let me try it. Thanks for the idea.

As far as buying the cards online. I usually buy them at ebay for my daughter and I like to buy the whole box because you get a virtual pet (I have so far) with each box. Even with shipping and handling it comes out less than $2.99 per pack.

You are not strange many, many parents play My daughter has autism too and she loves the cards - the actual cards - has them in the Webkinz binder and everything. She also loves the figurines. I say she has a Webkinz army since she lines them up and you can hear her "give instructions" in her own language

I have not read all the posts but I found a good deal yesterday at a shop called Webkinz petstore dot com, it was $49.99 for series one and they have a free ship special. I also found one with super deals on Webkinz clothes (I got some holiday outfits ) that one is playful plush toys dot com.

I like the series one better since we are always KC poor from buying all kinds of stuff for the rooms. The series 2 codes have not given me much I like - I actually got more CSO rares from series 1 (Egyptian and Medieval). Maybe when there are better prices for them I will try to finish my Garden room.

Hope that helped!

Awesome! I just checked them out. That rocks. I'm hoping I won't be disappointed in getting the Series 2...because I've had similar results with rare items in the Series 1. If the Series 2 box disappoints me, I'll order from that site. Did you order from it or just find it?
