Honestly, I had the same question before buying one. By reading some of the comments here I decided to buy a Hamster first. I am glad I did.

The Zummy is very cute, and my son likes to give it toys and make it giggle, but it takes so much time to make it 100% happy that he gets over it after a while. We have only gotten him to 100% 4 or 5 times and it cost hundreds of KC to get him there.

It says that they can play with each other and two can play with each other using one toy. That sounds cute, but I don't know if it makes it easier to get them all happy or not. If you have more than one Zummy you have to get them ALL to 100% before they have a "party." The "party" is when you get the bulk of your zummy cash.

If there are a few zummy items that you want to be able to buy for your Webkinz's room, then you will want one so you can work to get the Zummy Cash to buy the item.

Otherwise, I would recommend a Hamster instead. It provides you with a lot more things to do and you can earn Kinz Cash while playing with it!

Hope this helps some.
