Are you also sick of the word "GLITCH"

Are you ?............... what is it. really ? ............... who came up with it ?..............
Are You Sick of the Not providing of a real explanation ?............... What would you call a "Programmer's" Error ?................
After all, that is what it is, not a computer error and I wish we would call it what it is. Maybe then someone will have to take responsibility for it.
The computers are not at fault it is the programmers of that computer.
SO WHAT WOULD YOU CALL IT??? no bad words please .http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...ictureid=85264:cm:

I agree............ Everybody says glitch this and glitch that. Why don't you really try to see what happened. Don't just complain!

Whoever came up with the name GlitchKinz is a Genius! I think it is FUNNY! I also think WE have the right to complain about all the "real" glitches in WW because WE spend thousands of dollars on the product and expect to get quality service for our money. I can understand that things happen... But it is getting SO bad that you can't even play without getting kicked out every ten minutes. They are not a starving company with out enough funds to hire the proper staff to fix these issues. I think they know we are hooked and take their good ole time with these so called glitches. I appreciate all the hard work they do! But I also feel that as a customer we have the right to expect a higher standard of service from a multi billion dollar company like GANZ.

The word Glitch is fine. It's better than saying:

"The Employment Office has a computer programming error."

It's easier to say:

"The Job Office has a glitch."

I couldn't agree with you more. And I also want to add that for those of us that do spend thousands of dollars each year (even those that spend hundreds)...well I think that there should be an extra reward in WW. Similar to the gold box (also I don't see why they don't give us both the gold and blue box, why does it have to be a trade out?).

Anyway what I am trying to say is that once a person has reached their 25th Webkinz, 50th, 75th, and so on that WW should recognize this and they should give out something like a 'super duper exclusive' box along with the gold one and of course the regular PSI gifts. And days like today I find unexceptable....I am a proud owner of 335 and counting webkinz .

I /we all deserve more. I give them, as do many here, alot of money and I think that it should be recognized by GANZ through some form of costumer appreciation. Even if it is as simple as a :D'super duper exclusive' plus the other staple gifts.

I just feel like GANZ walks all over us and we put up with it and vent here. We talk alot about 'glitches' when it is human error. Humans are the programmers...so my vote for a different term would be 'programmer's problem' or PP, but that wouldn't happen because God forbid they take any responsibility. Not to mention it's not very catchy. And most importantly PP would reveal the truth vs the standard scapegoat of 'it's the machines fault'.

Re: Are you also sick of the word "GLITCH"

Definition of Glitch:

1. a defect or malfunction in a machine or plan.
2. Computers. any error, malfunction, or problem.
3. a brief or sudden interruption or surge in voltage in an electric circuit.

(These three definitions were found on dictionary . com)

Now, has Webkinz World had defects or malfunctions with their machines and plans?

--Yes, they actually have. Some of it is the computers fault, though, of course, most of it. The computer is like all of us humans, not perfect. It sometimes doesn't read what people are trying to do so does something else that they thing might be right. They do the wrong things, too, like us, not on purpose.

Something wrong with our computers? Any errors, malfuctions, or problems with our computers?

--Absolutely. This is one of more popular reasons there are more things wrong with Webkinz World. WW takes a lot of power to work. Dial-up is very slow and hard to go on WW with. Normal Internet with something like AT&T or any kind of internet system works pretty good! My favorite browsing system that I have is Mozilla Firefox because it works sharper and organized. That is only my point of view, and I have never tried Safari.

Thunderstorms that interrupt our game?

--This happens all the time, and sometimes Ganz has to go down because the automatic turning off can harm their system and even the server they are using.

LOL It only gets on my nerves when it's used inapropriately. Like when the stripy toques turned into racing helmets people said "it's just a glitch". Someone had to make a helmet like that. The computer didn't just accidentally do it. Arggg. LOL
