Default Answered: Windows Media Player

Hey everyone, so I was trying to get onto Windows Media Player to listen to music as I always do, and for some reason it's not opening...
I'm not sure what happened...
I was putting some new songs on my mp3 player (through WMP) and I synced them as normal, then X'd out WMP since I wasn't on anymore.
Then I noticed that the next time I tried to open it, I got an Error Message about one of the songs that I was trying to sync (but wouldn't sync), so I just clicked 'Okay' on the error message. (I don't remember if WMP opened or not), but now WMP won't open at all...

Update: I just switched to my mom's "profile" thing on this computer, and her player opened up fine, so I'm not sure why mine isn't working at all....

Can you open you WMP at all or reinstall it to change it back to it's default settings and go from there? Or if you have the disc, sometimes you can run a repair on it. Just some things to try. Not too familiar with that particular program, but those are some general things that sometimes work with software. Hope it works out for you.
Nope, I waited until it was done syncing and said I could remove it til I removed it.
I can not open WMP at all on my "page/profile" thing on my computer (like on Windows Vista, different users can have different "profile" things), but I checked on my mom and brother's and theirs worked fine...
I've even shut down my computer and restarted it and neither helped.

UPDATE: Ooh, now all of a sudden it's working!
YAY!

If you shut it down for the night Windows will probably fix it during the night. I hope that is what will happen and it will be working fine tomorrow. Sorry you are having problems with it. It is so frustrating to have machine problems.

Especially when you have like over 400 songs on there....
But I guess I'll try that and hope that it works.
