Ok, so I've been working on this for hours and I really mean hours. I've been trying to get a backround image for my profile thing and no matter how much I try I can just never do it can somebody give me step-by-step info on how to do it?
I was just about to say the same thing. Make sure you have it saved to an album first or it won't let you. I just tried for about a half-hour too, but called my friend, and then she told me. Good luck! I hope that helps!
I will try to help. This is how I do it. This is for putting a background image on your profile page.
First I find an image I like and copy it to my desktop. Make sure it is a JPEG or a Gif and it cannot be too big.
Next go to your profile page and open one of your albums. Double click on upload pictures. Click on browse and select the image you have saved to your desktop. Click upload pictures. When your picture comes up in a new window click "Save Changes".
This will bring up your album pictures and your new image should be there. Double click your new image. When it opens go to the text under Picture URL. Do a Control "A" (Select all) then Control "C" (Copy).
Go back to your User profile page. Double click "Customize Profile". In the very first section you will see background image. Do a Control "A" (Select all) then Control "V" (Paste). Select the Repeat function that works for your image. Click the save right underneath it. Go to the very bottom and click "Save Changes". Go back to your user profile and your new image should be there.
You may have to play around with the repeat to make it work best for you.
NOTE: The shortcuts I have mentioned - Control "A" (Select all), Control "C" (Copy), Control "V" (Paste) are for use on a PC. If you are on a MAC you would use "Command" instead of "Control".
Hi! I have a question: does it give you an error messagewhen you try to upload a picture? If so, then your picture that you use for your background is most likely too big, and that is the whole problem. To make it smaller, simply upload it onto tinypic.com and then copy in the image code it gives you. If this is not the case, then here is what I do when I want to make a cool background for my profile.
First, I find the picture that I want to use for the background and save in into a file.
Then, I upload it onto my album in webkinz insider. (I do this because when I click on it later, it will give me the URL, which is important to have if you want to put that certain pic on your profile.)
Next, click customise profile, and copy and paste the URL of the image that you previously uploaded into your albums.
After that, click Preview. If you like the way the image looks on your profile, scroll down to the bottom and hit save.
Lastly, click your username at the top left section of the page to admire your beautiful new profile page!
