Okay, well it's still about the marketing appeal.
Just like the "Glamour Gecko": it wouldn't sound as catchy if it was just called "Pink Gecko".
And the "Fire Fawn" wouldn't have sounded as good if it was just called the "Red Fawn".
Perhaps some people would like the other versions better but Ganz wants to make their plushies sound appealing to a vast majority of users. It's sort of like when candy stores name their lollipop flavors "Super Atomic Giggly Grape" instead of just "Grape". I'm not totally sure if Super Atomic Giggly Grape exists but if it does I want to buy it, thus shines the genius of marketing appeal.
(And i want a lolipop )
Marketing appeal is so more people will buy it,
like if instead of "magical retriever" it was "blue & purple dog"
It wouldn't sound as appealing to others
(Though i'd probably like it )
So its name is probably from
Marketing appeal and The colors on it
Though were not sure thats it, but it seems like the most logical explanation
