Thumbs down Unanswered: Webkinz World is causing some serious problems for my browser.

Okay, I have the latest version of Firefox on my Mac computer (I always update it when a new version of Firefox comes out to ensure safety)

First of all, Webkinz takes an INSANELY long time to load. Like, 2 minutes as opposed to the 2 seconds it usually takes.

Second of all, if I try to close Webkinz or refresh it while it is taking 5 billion years to load, it crashes my browser, which is extremely annoying if I had several tabs up with several important things on them.

I have tried clearing my cache many times, but nothing seems to be working. Any advice?? My dad seems to think it's this thing I downloaded that's a Firefox thing called "personas" or something... it changes the color of your Firefox browser, and it is an official application, so I wouldn't think it would be doing that, otherwise it would've crashed other times when I'm not trying to refresh Webkinz World.

My only advice would be to check and make sure that you have the latest Adobe Flash player. I don't have a Mac, so I'm not really sure what else to tell you.

I recommend installing and using Google Chrome.

Google chrome works the best for me as far as WW is concerned. Although, today it seemed really slow, with a lot of 'Please Waits". I got SO frustrated with Internet Explorer for WW. I don't know about Firefox, so I can't help you there.

I've heard many good things about Google Chrome, but this person said they're on a Mac and Google Chrome is not available for the Mac.

A suggestion: Try a browser called "Camino" see if that helps.

I don't have a Mac or the application you mention, but otherwise your problem was my problem, and it was driving me up a wall. Tonight I upgraded to the newest Firefox, 3.5.2. With that version, Webkinz is running as smoothly for me as it ever did, instead of slower than very cold molasses. Best wishes to you. :-)

I usually use Safari for Webkinz World. It takes around 20 seconds, but at least it's not 2 minutes. Lol! I hope I helped!

I have a Mac too. I have Safari and Firefox. It just loads forever! And i also have the lastest Firefox =[

Oh I want to add one thing that it's the same on Safari and I have the personal thing too. =[

I just uninstalled personals on the firefox and it works for me! I hope this helps! =]
