I hope this helps:
If you can't see all the items at the bottom of your screen, you might try changing your monitor resolution to 1024x768.
Windows 98/2000/XP Users
  1. Right-click on your desktop (away from any icons or open windows)
  2. Select "Properties"
  3. This will open your Display Properties Control Panel.
  4. Click on the "Settings" tab.
  5. In the middle of this panel, you will see your "Screen Resolution" slider. Slide this to the right, until you get to 1024x768 (higher resolutions are okay, but make sure that they are compatible with your monitor). Press "OK" to confirm your choice.
  6. Your monitor will flicker a bit then change to its new settings. You're now ready to go!
Windows Vista Users
  • Method 1: From the desktop
    1. Right-click on your desktop (away from any icons or open windows)
    2. Click "Personalize"
    3. At the bottom of the list, click "Display Settings".
    4. Use the slider bar to select your desired resolution (1024x768 or higher)
    5. Click OK.
  • Method 2: From Control Panel
    1. Click the Start button (it's still called that, it just doesn't say "Start" on it anymore)
    2. Click "Control Panel"
    3. Under "Appearance and Personalization", select "Adjust Screen Resolution".
    4. Use the slider bar to select your desired resolution (1024x768 or higher)
    5. Click OK.

If you have a laptop with only one or two settings, you will not be able to view the whole screen.

If you have a mac and are using Safari, click on "view" on your top bar above the window, and click "zoom out". I think this will help you view the whole screen.

I have a small screen on my laptop, but I can get the whole Webkinz screen by changing the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels (as explained above by PoliceProperty). It's a little weird at first, but you get used to it. You probably still won't be able to see the whole thing at once, but if you move your mouse past the top or bottom of what is visible, the whole desktop will move up or down so you can see the rest of it. Or if it really bothers you, try a different computer that has a bigger screen.

As PoliceProperty has pointed out - it is a screen resolution issue. Some laptops which have only one or two screen resolution options - like Sony's VAIO - cannot accommodate Webkinz. I learned this the hard way when I bought - you guessed it - a Sony VAIO laptop. However, after much angst i found a solution which allows you to add more screen resolution options. It is a bit complicated and I suspect that the solution for other laptops may be different. em fresh - what kind of laptop do you have?

Interestingly, this seems to be a WW problem only. My daughter had no problems playing on other similar sites. I just have to switch back to the native resolution if I want to watch movies.

A word to the wise - ask to test any laptop in the store BEFORE you buy it to ensure that you can navigate the sites that you normally go on.

Mom almost drove the sales reps crazy testing the site on different netbooks, but she was able to find resolutions that worked in all cases. On some you had to do it in multiple places so it didn't reset.

On the model we bought, it actually had fewer resolutions than the display model in the store, but she
had made sure that tech support new the requirements & would take it back without their return fee if
there was a problem. But luckily one of the sizes was okay.

The resolutions are under screen properties, and are different than the aspect ratio,
i.e. not changeable via the zoom in & out (ctl +/-).
