Question Unanswered: Webkinz in water?

Is it ok to put webkinz in water? Would they still be ok if I took them out?
Thanks!

Do you mean like REAL water or Like water on Webkinz?
If water on Webkinz, it's fine. If real water, I don't think so.

I really would stay away from that idea.
I mean, you could always dry it, but
that takes a really long time, and if you
get the webkinz wet you won't be able to
play with it.

I hand washed some Webkinz and had a couple of others go through the washing machine and drier. They're fine...

I just don't recommend washing ones with pink cheeks like the duck and penguin cause the pink comes off, the ones with stringy fur like the large St. Bernard or Hippo, and REALLY fuzzy ones like the Samoyed or Persian Cat.

Ones that I washed that came out fine was the Love Frog, Love Monkey, Cheeky Monkey, Raccoon, Lil Unicorn, Black Cat, Snowman, and Bullfrog. If you have any similar to those I think it would be okay. I just wouldn't dunk them in water... if you REALLY NEED to wash them, use the washing machine, or if they're just a little dirty, try a damp towel or piece of towel paper.

Well, once..I left one of my Webkinz in a hotel room...
& it turns out it went with the bedding,
but the people were nice enough to ship it back...
But after it got washed, & dried...it was ruined. Completely.

It should be safe, on many threads I've seen people bathe their Webkinz and they've turned out just fine. But, don't try it with furry Webkinz! Maybe Webkinz with short fur such as the duck, manatee, ect.
