she looks like she still has too much dish soap in her hair. I would recommend rinsing her some more. When I wash mine I put them in a pillow case in the washer on gentle- I also put just a touch of fabric softener in with them.
Maybe you could try washing her in the washing machine,(on gentle in a pillow case) it couldnt hurt I guess since her hair is already messed up. maybe it would help get some of the excess soap out?
Ok on the greasy part. You said you just rinse your pet in water right? was the bucket you used ever used for anything else? I just want to check. If not try:
Ok try taking a hair dryer on a low setting and completely dry a spot of the fur. Make sure the hair dryer is either on cold set or on the lowest temperature setting. Then try the clean toothbrush method. You need to seperate the fibers of the fur.
I think you should re-wash it and air dry it.
What I do to wash my webkinz is this-.It is time consuming, but it works.
1.Get the dirty part wet.(Or in your case, the webkinz.)Don't use too much water, just enough to get it damp.
2.This step is hard for me to do,but its okay."wring"your webbbie out,so theres not much water in it.
3.scrub the dirty part intill clean.Do NOT use soap.It is hard to get out.
4.Let it dry, carfuly styling her hair down every now and then. You can use a people hair brush if you want. It works well.
This method helps with dirt and bad hair-dos.In your case,a hair brush is helpful. You can use a towel too.Use the to brush the hair the way it is sapoosed to fall.
Hope this helps.
Check the setting you choose on your hand first. If it feels too hot still make sure you hold the dryer farther away from the toy. I really hope it works or at least helps. I tried the toothbrush method on on my my nieces toys and it made it a lot better. Let us know how it goes.
