Default Unanswered: Webkinz Party Problems

For the last two day my kids and I are trying to have a Webkinz party. We tried the winter party but the button never appeared. Then we tried the inroom pizza party but everytime someone came my phone turned off and the all got sent home. It has been very frustrating.

I called webkinz help desk to ask what I can do and they told me its my ISP's fault and that 2 of my ports are closed. They told me numbers 18 and 21.

Before I call my isp and sound completely stupid, I am looking to all of you for help. Does this even sound reasonable? What is a port? Has anyone every heard of this before?

Thanks for reading...and Thanks for your help!

Default Re: Webkinz Party Problems

I have never ever heard something like that. It's odd how nobody else has reported this on WI. Again, I don't know much about isp, but how could a port be affecting your party...? I googled what an ISP port was, and it gave me a lot of technical lingo that doesn't seem like it would really affect a Webkinz party a whole lot.

Many members have been experiencing troubles with parties, including myself, I haven't been able to go to a party for the past year at least. I always thought it was Ganz who needed to de-glitch. Now I'm not so sure....As far as I know not many people have had a party work for them.

I really hope this clears up for you. Hopefully someone on here who really understands things like this can help.

I had party trouble before - both room and house parties. I usually clear cache before I log in if I have a party scheduled. Sometimes it work, sometimes it does not. It really does not have anything to do with your ISP or the ports you are using. Try using a different browser... For me, FireFox is working the best...good luck
