Default Re: Which webkinz and/or lilkinz are safe to wash?

I've washed ALL my webkinz. Except whimsy dragon.

You can wash all webkinz except don't wash the leather like on the penguin's feet. Here's what you do:

  1. get a washcloth, and a bucket of water, hand soap, and a towel
  2. Pick one of your webkinz and take the washcloth and put the WASHCLOTH in the bucket, and wring it out until there's not a lot of water in the wash cloth
  3. Put ONE squezze of soap in the washcloth and rub it on your webkinz/lil' kinz.
  4. put the webkinz on the towel and let dry
That's all you do!
Here's why you don't want to dunk your webkinz in the water: The water gets inside the webkinz where the stuffing is and when it drys it smells.

All the soft material, the stringy material, and the lion's mane is even ok. I wouldn't do like the curly hairs (poodle) or like the sparkly (pegasus or fantail fish) or that shiny material. (: You can go to my family thread (in my siggy) and those are ALL safe to wash.
