Default Re: WI bucks -- what they are & how to use them!

MissG I was thinking that it is a little annoying to have the service fee make a very regular number go kind of wonky. For instance i put 5000 in a couple days ago but it only put 4900 in. Odd numbers kind of bother me LOL so I found a very easy way to figure out how to actually make your 5000 be 5000 in savings. When ever you want 5000 in your savings you have to actually give up an extra 2% to cancel this out. The math is actually quite simple. You just take the amount you want to put into your account and divide it by 0.98 (or 98%) For example
I want to put 1000 exactly into savings so i do the following to figure out what money to actually put into the amount line:
1000/0.98=1020

So if I want to have 1000 in saving I should actually put 1020 into the amount line.

When you look at your own Avatar, it will always say balance. If you click on that, it takes you to your control Panel. In the middle of it will be account information on the WI bucks. One box where you can move to Savings. One box where you can take out a loan. And, like a checkbook statement at the bottom that lists changes to your account. Someone gave me WI boxes because they liked something I did. That's supposed to show up as a transaction there. But I haven't looked at that yet. I did move some $ to savings and that did show up as I wrote it in the "reason" section for moving to savings.

The "Give WI Bucks" is for you to click on if you wish to give the person whose avatar you are viewing a gift of some of your WI bucks.

Hope this helps.
