Well, more things to have to learn. ((sigh)) I wish I would have found WI a long time ago. It sounds like people who have been long time members wiil get lots more WI bucks than newbies like me. Good for them, bad for me. Oh well, I'll be working hard for my money. lol
I finally figured out what I was doing wrong... glad this isn't my account in the real world. I wasn't placing the amount in the right location. So it works just find it was just me... but truly this has been and will continue to be the place a lot of us come to for answers.. and I was smart enough to subscribe so that when I need more answers I know where to come... 5 Star rating for sure.
I'm glad you figured it out. I am going to add some pictures today to clarify it even more.

You could give them a rep point... or you could send a PM to thank them or post your thanks in their profile, although those last two seem a bit stingy?
What's the proper way to respond to a gift?

I just got faced with this problem too. I sent them a thank you PM and i plan on eventually surprising them with a bigger gift in a few weeks.
I think Rep is the best option if you want to say thank you. It's a great way to spread bucks and say thank you privately ~ I use the rep system for private messages at time... just find a post and fill out the form.
If you know them a PM is great too, but I would think a profile message could be a little too public? they may want the gesture to be kept between the two of you. Kwim?

Sort of . It is going to be a larger system of reward, but it is a good way to kind of think of the gifting side like rep. You can use it as a thank you for being a friend, helpful posts or just to send a smile to someone!

That is my question!
Hiya Chrissy & Eheinze
When you look under your avatar where it should say "Give WI bucks" it will say "balance" as you can't really give yourself bucks. But under everyone of your friends avatars on the forums it should say "give WI Bucks".

It will just take time too . It is a new system but I'm sure it will all be as natural as rep for everyone .
