Hello and welcome to WI (Webkinz Insider.) You go from lil kinz to Webkinz status when you have 10 posts and the computer catches up. You should be a webkinz in the next 10 minutes or so since you have already made 10 posts.
Being gifted is a privilege here on WI for members who have shown that they are helpful and trustworthy. Once you have been a member for more than 2 weeks and have at least 50 good/helpful posts, you can apply to become a gift trainee.
When you are gifted/gift trainee, you can trade items here on WI. What happens is, you post things you like and then you post things you have too many of or items you may not like so much. Someone makes an offer, then you exchange WW user id's and trade.
Here are 2 links, the first one will help you make great posts and help you become gifted if you chose to do it. The second one is to the actual Gift Exchange thread, it is where you read the rules of the GE and post your agreement. If you have any questions, let me know and I will help you out as best I can,.

Yes, catprincess got it... I just want to add that Once you make your Ten Posts that you need to Wait a little while for the system to catch up . From there, ilf you apply, you can become a gift trainee, then gifted... Gifted members trade here on WI.
Actually, you don't get a message when you become a Webkinz, you just see Webkinz instead of lil kinz above your user name and you will have the ability to send Private Messages (PM's)
