I've used more than one coupon at a time; in fact, I used four at the same time yesterday when buying some garden items. However, when I very new to WW (around Christmas time), I had something similar happen (I can't remember for sure, but I do think at least one coupon was involved). It was similar in that some of the items being purchased were in my dock, but one wasn't. The most frustrating thing about the whole experience was that according to everything that Ganz provides in customer service that refers to this kind of thing says this absolutely can't happen-- that if you don't get the items then the cash will be in your account. However, I know that it happened that first time since the one item that didn't show up was a 1,000KC couch-- and I didn't have a lot of cash, so it was clear when I had less than 1,000KC left that they had deducted the money.
On the other hand, I've had the "can't connect" message come up a number of times when I was in the middle of purchasing something, and I don't think I've ever lost an item and the cash except that one instance.
It would be interesting to see if this happens more when coupons are used-- if there is something about how the w-shop handles that transactions w/coupons that leads to the loss of both the cash and the item. I did have the "can't connect" message a few days back when I was using coupons, but all I thought to check on was the coupons themselves. Whatever I was buying wasn't expensive enough for me to know whether or not I got the money back (I had to buy the item "again," for sure).
Sorry that this happened to you; I know it is frustrating.
