Default Answered: Transparent images?

Hey guys, so i was wondering how to get the backdrop of an image transparent. i made a signature yesterday, and when i open it on my computer, there was no background. when i saved it as my signature, it put a black back-ground on the image. how can i fix this?

btw, i'm not sure if "transparent" is the word that i mean. i mean an image with no background on it.

thanks : )

So you made an image with a transparent or clear background?
Did you save it as a .gif?
You have to save it as a .gif for the transparency or clear background to stay on it.

You could use lunapic to easily fix it. Or if you use Photoshop you can make it transparent using it. If you need help I'd be glad do help you make it transparent.

Well, you should save the signature as a .png. If it's still black and white that means the signature KB size surpasses WI KB limit (29.3).
I usually just make my signature on a canvas with the color of WI background's:
something like this but the color might be off. If you can't see it, just highlight the picture.
Click the image to open in full size.
