Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it's a know 'trick' that we keep getting caught in.
Yesterday, my son was trading in the trading room. Both had agreed to trade (happy faces) - so my son clicked 'ready to trade'. While we were waiting for the other person to respond, a message came up saying that a system error has occurred. We hit 'ok' and assumed the trade did not go through. NOT THE CASE!!! My son did NOT receive the other item but his items to trade were GONE!!!! I don't know if they went into cyberspace or if the other person got our items and got to keep their items too!?!? (Luckily it was only a neon fro)
Anyways, this exact same thing happened to my other son a few minutes ago. My son had his hockey TV and hockey flooring up for trade. Both had agreed to trade (happy faces), so my son hit the ready to trade button. Again, as we wait for the other person to complete the transaction, the system error has occurred message comes up and we have to hit ok.
Well, he doesn't have the item he was wanting to get, and his hockey TV & flooring are GONE!
Needless to say, he's a little disappointed. It's one thing for a trade not to go through, but to lose your items too
Anyways, I know anything can happen on the internet - especially when you're trying to trade/move/mail - but because this happened to my kids twice now, I'm wondering if it's a scam. Now they are afraid to try to trade any of their exclusive items, in case those get lost too. Any thoughts?
That has happened to me as well! Im not sure if its a glitch or not, but ive lost some rather valuable items!! Im very upset. Also if u make something in the blender(im sure the blender i dunno about the rest) and u hit COOK and then once i accidently hit the x cuz i was goofing around, my 3 food items where gone and the food i was making never came out
Hopefully if it is a glitch they will fix it!
This hasn't happened to me, but every time I'm in a good trade it says "I'm sorry, you are changing color zones right when I press except.
I hope it's a glitch so then they'll fix it.
I would contact GANZ and copy+paste this for the message or read it for the phone call.
That's really weird.Were they trading with the same person both times?If they were, make note of the username and pet and report them to ganz.That might at least get their account taken away, and hopefully your sons will get their items back.
This has happened to me and my kids, but we haven't lost any items.
I would email Ganz and let them know this is happening. they may not do anything for you, but if enough people complain they may fix it faster.

That is really odd. I have had it to me before, but with the trade not going through. I haven't ever had any of my items lost. That is truly unfortunate. I would try to get in touch with Ganz and see if it is a glitch. Hopefully, that will be the case and they will fix it. My apologies to your sons!
also be careful becasue if you dont take off your items and they click ready to trade a certain ammount of times, then it forces you to trade! it happened to my friend a few days ago! hope you get oyur items back!
Did you try logging out and logging back in? I've had a similar error happen to me- it the middle of trading and once you click OK it appears that all the items are gone- but if you read the error message all the way through it says to please log out & back in to check the status of your items. Hopefully the next time they log in their new items will be waiting in the dock! Good luck <3
