For weeks I have had issues with my main account, not my Asian account and none of my children/grandchildrens' accounts just MY MAIN account. I have experienced the "Please wait . . ." almost continuously for weeks until about 4 days ago at which time I could finally access my account most of the time.
Today my account comes up and there is no pet, happiness/health/ etc is at 0 for all three, no gold, nothing in my dock and a green screen. It stays that way for well over 3 minutes. When it finally loads I am again experiencing the "Please wait . . .". Between my daughter, 3 grandchildren and myself I have spent bookoos on Webkinz only to be frustrated on a daily basis with all the glitches!
We love Webkinz but have decided until they get it fixed I am not spending another cent on it. They have no problem taking my money for something I can't access.
Sorry for the rant but I am fed up with the lack of customer support.
Have you cleared your cache and cookies? Have you called Ganz? Have you checked that you ISP isn't blocking some of the features you need? There's a lot of things that could be causing the problem. You say it's only on the main account so that sounds like it's on Ganz' side and you need to call them. But it doesn't hurt to try the other things as well.
I'm having the same exact problem today! I'm so frustrated. I don't have any problems at all during the week. But come the weekend, it is almost impossible to get on my main account. By main account, I mean the one with only 20 animals, and only 50 things in storage! All of my other accounts are fine.
Yes I have cleared my cache and cookies. It can't be my ISP because on the exact same computer I can access all 4 of my grandchildrens' account, my daughter's account and my Asian account, one right after the other. But when I go to my main account - NADA!
I have tried calling but I just get the run around on the automated phone system unless I have a call back number which I don't have because they will not answer my problem when I send in a report. I haven't seen such lousy customer service from a company in a LONG time!
I am very sorry that you're having such difficulties on one accout. We've been experiencing this 'a little' on every one of our accounts, but if I reboot the whole computer, I can usually get in. A quick try (sometimes it works for ours) is to hit that F5 key when you get the green screen, that Nan.Nan and zero KC message, or the please wait. It'll log you out, and then you log right back in again. About 50% of the time, this works for us and we don't have to reboot. Not sure if it'll work for you, but it can't hurt to try. Good luck
Thanks for the suggestion (F5). I have been trying that for weeks now. It brings back up the log-in screen but I still can't log in.
I have been timing it now. For the past 15 mins I have tried logging in a total of 25 times. None of them have actually gotten me to log in. I have gotten the blank green screen with no pet, KC, Health, etc. and no further than that. At times I have gotten to the newspaper screen but still had the "Please wait . . ."
The last time I tried I just let it sit. It has been on the newspaper screen, everything seems to have come up but I have been watching the "Please wait . . ." now for 7 ½ minutes.
Ohhh Aboo, I am sooo sorry you are having so many difficulties with logging in. I am plum out of suggestions for you to try. I am really sorry, and I hope someone else comes along and will have a winning suggestion for you. I do know, that depending on which server you are on with Ganz, that is where the problems are coming from. Ganz has admitted to knowing about the issue, and is reportedly trying very hard to fix it. Doesn't help you now, I know... but maybe give them a call again just to reiterate your frustrations and maybe they can give you a time line or better suggestions. Best of luck to you
I don't know much on how to help, but I can sugest a few. You can clear your cache and cookies. That usally helps, even if I haven't in a while. You may want to try contacting Ganz. They can sometimes do a ton for you and millions of others at the same time, by fixing one thing. Try turning your computer off for one entire day, which works for me 98% of the time. Sometimes it takes longer, though. I really hope I helped.
