Hi again,

I spoke to the technical department again and this is a summary of what you can do if you have this problem. First of all, they claim it is due to expanding to the international market/users. For example, when I chose "Eastern" as my time zone, I wasn't choosing the Eastern U.S. - but the "World East" - U.S. time would lie in the Western (world) time zone.
They still don't have much of a solution at this point - you can e-mail them at support@webkinz.com and describe your problem. They will send you a phone number to call and give you a customer number code to use. You can then call and have them re-set your account, but you will lose all earned kinzcash, any items you have bought/won, etc. Their solution to this was to use your KinzPost to mail items to another account where you can later have them sent back to you. You DO need your original pet codes to have them re-activated.
The other choice would be to wait it out, but I was told it would be "weeks" before they'd have another way to fix your accounts. Also, I was told that they have now made it easier to activate a new account in the correct time zone.
I'm new and I don't know if I can give out their phone number on the forum or not, but I'm sure there are ways to get it if anyone is waiting for weeks (as I did) for an e-mail reply.

if hes had his account less than 30 days he can reset it go to customer support and the'ly help him reset it.

NOTE: he'll lose everything he owns

I finally received a reply from customer support and got the same response everyone else has--that I would loose everything. However, when I recently logged in my kinz time time was only 1 hour ahead instead of 6. We're making progress....
