Question Answered: Is there lead in Webkinz Charms?

Is there really lead in Webkinz Charms? I got a googles one from ebay about a month ago. Is there really any lead in them or was it just a rumour?
Also, please provide links to official articles as proof. I can't find any official links myself :c

The charms are made of Pewter, which contains lead.

Here is what Ganz said about their charms:

Cheesy1 gave you the correct answer. There is a small amount of lead in them and Ganz discontinued making them. You should be fine with your googles charm because I think you probably will have sense enough not to put it in your mouth. It is too small to give to a small child who might do that.

Thank you for your answers It's relieving to know that my charm isn't harmful. Well... unless I swallow it, but I don't think I'm gonna do that anytime soon (it would make the charm such a waste of money!)
