Default Answered: Sticky Threads

Does anybody know how a thread becomes "sticky" (stays at the top of the page, title is in blue color)? I would really like to know because I've created a couple of guides that some people could find useful, but I find myself constantly having to post on it so that it stays towards the top of the "non-sticky" section. Any and all help will be appreciated!

Only mods and admins can make the threads sticky. They'll sticky threads that they think would be really helpful or deserve to be stickied.
Not every thread that's helpful can be stickied though, there wouldn't be enough room for all of the helpful threads to be stickied. So when you make a helpful thread your reward should be knowing that you could be of help.

Your thread will go to the top of the page when/if other people post on it. Please do not post on your own thread for the sole purpose of bumping it to the top, since bumping is not allowed and will result in closing by staff. People will be able to find your thread using the Search function. A clear informative title is very helpful in this regard.

Princess Starr is correct that stickying a thread is a staff decision.
