When I read this thread, I installed my Snowy City Wallpaper, and put some animated items in the room... they work fine, but my pet has a more jerky gait when walking. I'm also using IE.

It's a beautiful wallpaper.

Emailing Ganz is usually a waste of time, try phoning them weekdays during office hours, 1-866-932-5469.

Same problem here. Even with nothing in the room but the walls and floors, pet walked very slowly.
I think it's because there is snow falling outside the windows. So, I think it behaves like the outdoor rooms do when rain or snow is falling. Everything is very slow.

Same here:very slow. The paper is in a room with very few pets on the account. i tried Google Chrome and IE and it is the same on both. I have the Christmas Shop wallpaper on the same account and that one is fine.. So I really don't know if amimation is the problem or if it is Ganz being Ganz. oh,ye,have two pets in the room and it is a total mess. I was very disappoint, the city scape is beautiful.

Hi All,
I haven't looked at this thread in a while, too busy shoveling

I spoke with Ganz about this. They were only a little helpful. They took some stuff out of the room, nothing animated, just some plants and a piece of furniture. It runs a little better but not much.
What they did say is that, even though my 2.79 GHz processor meets the specs for WkW, things really run better with a faster processor. Now honestly, nothing else gives me difficulty, just WK animation. I think it's similar to the problem with snow and gardening or playing outside. Everything moves slower. In the case of the wallpaper, things move really, really slow. I'm thinking there's something in their implementation of animation that hogs the system.

I haven't been in that room since I spoke to Ganz, a pity really, I love the room and the wallpaper.

Any of you who have this wallpaper without problems, can you tell me what your processor speed is?

Thanks tons.

I have that wallpaper and nothing like that happens. I have furniture in the room. I checked both on IE and Firefox and it is fine. Sorry you are having problems.

What item are you trying to put in the room? Sometimes when I try to put a large item in the room, say a ball pit, I have to remove it from the room instead of moving it IN the room. It just seems to work better that way. If you are having difficulty with every item in the room, I am sorry, I am not sure how to fix it.
