We are also unable to get into one of our accounts
It is definitely very frustrating

We have spent a lot of money on Webkinz
& Webkinz related products
Ganz is aware how popular Webkinz are
I am sorry but I just don't buy it when others
have said that Ganz is just as concerned
It happens to be one of my childrens accounts
& they are not a happy camper
How is it possible to be down this long
I don't get it

I have a Question
If ganz is able to pay people on the weekend to do maintence
Why can they pay someone to man the phones
on the Weekend
when we run into problems?
like server problems,missing items etc
Well thank you all for listening to me vent

Thank you so much for the detailed information. That is a lot more than what I got when I spoke with Ganz this afternoon. Unfortunately, now I'm really concerned that what I have in my account may be lost forever. I keep telling myself that somewhere Ganz has this server backed-up and I won't have lost everything.

The following is a quote from your post: "We all must keep in mind that WW is a "as-is site" with no guarantee of access."

I'm assuming you are relaying a response from the manager at Ganz to a question you asked regarding if we, the customers, will be compensated in some way for not being able to access the website.

What Ganz needs to realize is that this very attitude will cost them customers. All Ganz needs to do is take 10 minutes to briefly scan some of the posts on WI to understand they have some truly unhappy customers. Each time these major glitches happen, people say "that's it, I'm not buying any more." And while Ganz will continue to get new customers, how many of them will purchase more and more Webkinz if the glitches continue without some sort of appeasement made by Ganz, especially if the new customer visits this site and sees how long and how often stuff like this goes on, and all the customer gets is a "we're sorry."

My kids (and me!) really enjoy Webkinz. I'd hate to see a really good thing ruined because of poor management and customer relations by Ganz. The unhappy customers aren't asking for "the moon," we simply want the chances at our Dailies, gardens, etc. that we missed while the system was down to be made available to us.

good question! i wish that they would. but, maybe not. i do not want the price of webkinz to go up. so, i guess i'm torn on weekend support. maybe they could do it for big problems like this weekend, though. course what would they say, "yep, its down!"

you're welcome! and, yes, you are correct. that was stated to me when i asked, "how are you going to make this up to us?" who knows, maybe they will change their minds. however, i do not advise for you to hold your breath

Thanks for the info. We're still waiting for a reply from customer service. Nice to know they are really working on the issue as we're still locked out.

I understand there is no "guarantee", but this is really hurting their customer relations. My daughter has only been on Webkinz for about a month and the site has gone down multiple times. She is so frustrated about being locked out right now that she may not buy more Webkinz. Interesting lesson for an 8 year old, but not good if she actually follows through long term and other kids do too.

Darn. Went down again.

Seems to be sporadic. Got back in. Have been thrown out about 5 times, but at least I can get back in again.

TWO WORDS: I'm in!!

Oh and I did forget to mention earlier... (not being able to do these things reminded me) they ARE aware that things did not get reset and are working on that, too! The manager spoke about customers not being able to do activities. I wasn't really focused on that since we couldn't even get in....
