Default Unanswered: Seriously Mad At Ganz

I have spent a lot of money on Webkinz, both the stuffed animals, trading cards and some accessories. I enjoyed the game, collecting rare items and most especially the tournament area.

For a while there everything worked well, with only the occasional glitch. However, for the past Week I haven't been able to turn on the Kinzchat phone. Every time I try it either says "Unable to connect", or "all servers are busy." No matter what time of day I try it's always the same.

I tried to find a way to get help by using the customer service button on the opening page. Of course that was completely unhelpful.

I want my money back. How dare Ganz take my money on false pretences. There must be another way to contact them. Please let me know what it is.

i'm sure they've been flooded with complaints on the phone issue and i expect we'll see a complete shut down for maintence soon, try to hang on and keep a positive outlook, no need getting too upset,

We are all experiencing this same dilima...and GANZ is aware of the problem...like anglekte said...I'm sure they will shut down soon and do some repairs...I have been able to get my phone to work if I do NOT try turning it on from my doc...but just going straight to the Club House has been working for me as it comes on automatically for me...not always but 9 times out of 10 it works...so try that while you ride out the repairs!

keep your chin up, and try to remember that although we do pay good money for our little pets, webkinz is constantly upgrading and improving what they offer in webkinz world, in addition to trying to manage a massive amount of new members, new adoptions, and the inevitable computer glitches. I have little problems with my laptop on a regular basis (nothing serious, but computers and technology aren't perfect), so imagine what they must deal with having hundreds of thousands (or millions?) of members and all of the constantly changing data. There's inevitably going to be some fallout.

I hope this perspective makes you feel at least a little better.... it can be really frustrating when things like this go wrong, but the areas of WW that you live will be back soon, I'm sure

Good Morning, TurtlePower... I can certainly understand (and relate to!) your frustration with the cell phone issue... That is just one of many problems people have been having with WW.
The following is a link to a most excellent thread posted by legalcat on various ways and most successful methods of contacting Ganz. (She has a bit of expertise in this area!)

Although, as people have posted, Ganz is aware of the cell phone issue, and is supposedly 'working on it' - so, not sure that contacting them would change anything.
I do believe that we, as consumers, most definitely have not only the right - but obligation - so speak up when something isn't right.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I feel better now, this website is so supportive.

I did go into the clubhouse to try and get my phone on via Nascar20Fan advice. That worked well second try. Unfortunately as soon as I headed to the tournament area it hung up on me.

I suppose you are right and I should just be patient. Thank you for much for the links angelgurl1. I might call, but you probably all are right, they are aware of the problem and working on to correct it.

Hello, I, and probably a lot of other people, have been having a lot of problems with the cell-phone, I have gotten "all zones are full" many of times. I think, and hope, that WW will fix that soon! But for now, you could either play without the cell-phone, or don't turn it on, and go to the clubhouse. it turns on the cell-phone autimatically! I hope I helped!

would we really say that this warrants government and television involvement? Seems a little extreme to me. No offense. I understand the frustration with glitches, but in the grand scheme of things, its not really an issue that warrants such extreme measures.

Again, just my opinion. Feel free to "rise up" but I won't be joining you.
