As you can see from the pictures the Sea Otter is not an underwater pet. Real Otters are good swimmers and can hold their breath for a long time, but they don't need te water to live. Thus Ganz' decision to make the Otter a land-dweller.

Oh dear, the sea otter is a land mammal that loves to swim. Maybe it will visit an underwater room and not need a bubble helmet!

I want to get one and the water bed is cute, but I don't know what other furniture or room theme to use. I don't think the underwater theme can be used in a regular room.

Does anyone know?

thanks for the link that was very nice of you to find it and post it .
i missed that article. i wasnt sure if i wanted the otter but now seeing the virtual image and PSI i MUST have one lol. maybe santa will bring me one hes already getting me a lil cardinal
