Default Unanswered: script causing flash player to run slowly

I keep getting a message in a Adobe Flash Player Window that says the following:

" A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? " yes or no

I only get it when I am trying to log in and it never happens after I have logged in. Has anyone else gotten a message like this? I have downloaded the current flash player and cleaned my cache. What else can I try.?

Thanks,

chicken little

This happens to me all of the time. I usually abort the script. But then I have to log out.

This has happened to me before too. I usually just click no and it still runs fine. If it comes up again in the next few minutes I'll click yes, but then have to log out.

Click NO. If you click yes, it will make everything you try to post here look different. You'll lose spacing, font, and other text features that making posting here so easy. The message usually just goes away if you click NO.

I get that occasionally. Always click no, or else everything freezes up & you'll lose whatever you were doing. Usually it will keep going after a bit.

Happens to my sister to...

Try updating your flash player.
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

If that won't work, you may want to try a different browser, Chrome is the fastest:

(Für google!)

That was me that left that long explanation but I did go back and say first off you have to click NO -- because otherwise you are telling it to stop the Java/Flash, which is what basically runs ww programs mostly. Then if that doesn't work you have to go through the CTRL ALT DEL which unfreezes the dock opening up or have to do that and then go through telling certain programs to stop anignoring the weird warning about it hurting the computer, it won't not with those programs because they are not essential or necessary programs that the computer needs to run itself so can be shut down temporarily, after trying to get the dock open.

Glad the easiest way let you get the dock open, congrats.

I am sorry it took me so long to post this, however I had to go find it in another thread from last Oct. It was posted by a tech named Keylargo who really knows their stuff! Good Luck!
