Question Unanswered: Screen shots in posts

Hello,

I am having trouble pasting screen shots into posts....Any suggestions? It just comes up as a blank box when I try to paste it?

Is there something I am missing?

Perhaps it is my computer or something??? I tried clearing my history and all of that nonsense. However, I see people doing it all the time on Insider, so I thought I would give a shout out, and see what kind of feedback I get!

It is nice to know I am not alone!

Thanks!

Hmm...I didn't seem to have a problem using the manage attachments method. Let me try from photo bucket...

No I am just taking a screen shot of something I saw on WW, and am trying to post it in a forum.

So no upload, just a screen shot of arte!! LOL

I don't have a problem with manage attachments...that seems to work fine. It is just when I take a screen shot like a quick picture on WW, to show people in a forum what I saw in WW.

I hope I am making sense!! If not I apologize!

Kaymebee,

Is that what I do?? It looks like you had no problem doing a screenshot...Are you saving your screenshot to a file, then uploading it using "manage attachments"??

So are you trying to do a copy and paste?

This is a copy and paste:
Click the image to open in full size.

....or if you are doing a screen shot, using the Print Screen function on your computer - I believe you have to save the image to your computer first (as .jpg or .gif) and then upload it to a post.

Yes all I am doing is a Copy and Paste, and it looks like you had no problem doing that...so it is probably my computer....

The first one (small) was uploaded using manage attachments.

Second one was uploaded from Photobucket.

Third one was copied (right click, copy) from my post and pasted into the next.
