I'm frustrated with on of our accounts! When my daughter is playing a game in the arcade, the screen just goes completely blue. Our only solution is to log in again. It is very frustrating! My son is not experiencing these problems. I have played on her account a couple of times today and have gotten the same result! I don't like spending a lot of time playing a game, only to get booted out 6 or 7 minutes into it. Anyone else experiencing this? Anything I can do? I've emailed support, but I doubt I'll get much help. BTW, it happens on different computers, so I know it's not the computer.
Well I dunno what to do to fix it, but you could do Quizzy's until it gets fixed. That way if you get booted out or what-not you don't lose more than 5 kc, since it gives you the money you earn as you play !
That does sound frustrating, and I can empathize completely! Are you playing the same game every time, or different ones? Do you always have the same active pet (I'm not sure if this could affect anything)?
It sounds like it's not a caching issue because you've tested it on different computers, but have you emptied the cache? Also, have you checked Adobe's website to see if you have the newest version of Flash on all of the computers you were testing?
Thanks for the tips, I'll try emptying the cashe and making sure my Adobe is up to date. Unfortunately, it's on different games (but for me it's that new smoothie game. I get so mad when it kicks me out after I've tried so hard!). I will also try different pets, I hadn't thought about that.
This sounds like the same glitch most folks are experiencing with Webkinz since WK updated mid-October.
For all 3 of our accounts, we get booted at around 9 minutes after logging in. We put the timer on and make sure we quit a game at around 8 minutes. Sure enough not a few moments after we do that, we get booted form the arcade and either get a long running green screen with the W and then it eventually goes to a blue screen or once in a while we get sent to the Charm Forest (which we can play agian) and sometimes to the Star Challenge (which we cannot play again.) We've still lost a ton of KC and I lost over 220 KC in the gem hunt the other day when it seized & told me it could not connect to WK. Thus we now time our sessions to prevent greater KC losses.
I did notice this evening that the timeouts seem to be longer between occurences. I thought it was fixed & was playing smootihe moves & doing well but got booted. But I think I had the site open for at least 20 minutes at that point. So maybe they are slowly getting it fixed. We hope!
I did lose a pack of seeds I bought tonight that I planted but went missing. Gone. Oh well.
I did try changing pets on my daughters account and it has helped. I have played smoothie moves several times in a row, when before I could rarely play one full round without getting booted off. Just to be sure, I left for a few minutes, came back and played the game of the day a few times. Still, no problems. So, for now, changing the pet seems to have helped. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it continues to work! Thanks for the advice!
I know how you feel. I have also been experincing these problems and it can get quite annoying! Just hang in there and wait for Ganz to do it's daily maintnence and see if it's fixed. If it isn't, I'm gonna email Ganz tommorow. And if that dosen't work, I'll call them.
