Red face Unanswered: Says code does not exist when we JUST BOUGHT IT!

My mom (who seems to have the worst luck with Ganz and their glitches) recently bought some clothing items, and most of their codes work- but one of them keeps coming up as non-existent.

She tried again several times, wondering if the "B" was really an "E" or a "3", but nothing worked, and eventually she was banned from entering in codes altogether!

This is ridiculous, she paid good money for that code, and gets nothing in return?

What's more irritating, is the only customer service form regarding non-working codes is in regard to pet codes. HELLO Ganz! Are you not keeping track of your own products?! There are other codes people may be having issues with!

So what should I do? This cannot stand; this is just too much. Glitches are one thing but when you've paid for an item you do not receive, Ganz is as much as stealing money right out of your pocket!! (I really hate how there isn't an angry emoticon >=/ )

Has anyone else had this problem? Did you contact Ganz? Did they DO anything about it??

Can anyone name their Customer Service number/hours off the top of their head? I found it once before but it was difficult. Also their customer service page is worthless. We told them about several stuck items days ago and they haven't done a thing about any of them. I'd rather talk to someone who can be held immediately accountable for what is done about this.

Oh boy, I would be mad too! So far, I've had good luck, but I hate to hear how everyone else is suffering. I don't know what to do, but make sure your caps lock and such are off, and everything is exact.

One thing it could have been is someone has already entered that code, but I don't know if that is the same as a "non-exist" code.

I'm so sorry you and your mom can't get the codes to work, I hope Ganz finally realizes that it has bigger problems than just making up new pets and ways to gain more profit.

That happened to me when I got a webkinz lip gloss when it had just came out. Your item may be too new, and Ganz hasn't programed it yet. I waited a few days and I got my item.

Sorry you are having problems--some of those codes are really hard to read on those little slips of paper.
You didn't mention trying the number "8" instead of the "B"
If you try a code in the Code Shop more than 3 times or so, you can't go back for 24 hours. Some people try making up codes in hopes of a prize.
Ganz can tell you if the code has been used if you can talk to them. Or--try the area in Customer Service where it says something like "My error message isn't listed" or something like that. Good luck.

sometimes evil people can predict tag codes or steal them then put them back then they log them in >:[ this is not fair in any way if so keep on calling customer survice and if they don't respond just be patient because webkinz is world wide and many people are having this problem

We had problems with a webkinz cares tagthat had already been entered. Called and talked to a lady ext 2000 and she told me to send in the code card and they would send a new one. We got a new card in the mail today. It is a pain but they do stand behind it.

I understand your frustration. Back a while ago when all you could get were the Bracelets and neck chains for the Fairy Forest Game (Charm hunt?), It said RIGHT on the package that you could get into the forest and begin hunting for your charms. It was an outright LIE because once the code was entered, your return policy was no good AND you got a virtual Credenza, but NO entry to the forest. They refused to rectify this and people STILL came forward on saying the same thing. IT STATES SPECIFICALLY that you have access to the charm forest!
Unfortunately, with the coded items, their HUGE mistake was printing the numbers so small that you have to guess at '8' or '3' or 'B' or 'E' L( Even a '4' Looks like an 'A' and I have fairly good sight for reading.
Just keep hounding them until someone listens. That is the only way to get back what you paid. KEEP THE RECEIPT, they may request you submit a Photocopy.
I know it is of little consolation to hear me say that I feel for you and I hope it turns out well, ut I DO hope it does.
