Default Answered: Safari-Is this supposed to happen?

I just downloaded Safari, and I went to edit one of my posts on Webkinz and noticed it was really strange. I was wondering, is that normal?
So like, instead of just seeing bold text or centered text, I see it'll say something like
[CENTER.] Text [/CENTER.], rather than just being centered.
I'm trying to edit my GE, and it's really confusing me.
It looks like this:

Is that normal?

Yes, this is how it looks for me. I thought this happened with every web browser! Hmm, I guess not. If it is too confusing and you'd still like to use Safari, probably the best thing to do is maybe make a print out of what you have on your thread, delete everything and start from scratch. Or, if Firefox is different, you can use that browser to edit your exchange thread!

Hi MeWuvKitties!

This is how it always appears for me, and I too use Safari - it's showing you the code behind what you're doing to your GE or any post that you are making. It is a little difficult to get used to at first, but you'll soon be super used to it and not notice it any longer I find that to take some of the difficulty out, I leave the font the standard WI font, and don't edit colouring unless it is for a special item. That takes a lot of the code out

Try clicking this button Click the image to open in full size. and see if puts the formatting back in. I know I have safari on my computer so I'll go check and see if it works.

EDIT: I guess it doesn't work. Aw too bad. Weird.

Yep, that's right. I use Safari and it's the same for me. I didn't know that other browser would actually show you the formatting as you're typing it up. But you'll get used to it super fast.

maybe you will have to go into your WI User CP while using Safari and edit some options for WI posting messages. edit options THEN MISCELLANEOUS then Basic Options.
