Default Answered: Quick Microsoft Word Question

I'm going to be designing my binders for school soon, so I figured I'd start putting the things together on Word so I can print them out.
But the only problem is, I can't figure out how to get rid of the header and footer margins.
I figured out how to move the left and ride side margins, but I can't figure out how to the do the top and bottom ones.
I need the pictures to be the whole paper, so that means I need to get rid of the extra margins.
How do I do that?

Uhm, I'm on a Vista.
Not sure what version of Word
*goes to check*

2007 (Version 9)

Ooh, I figured it out!
If I put it as a Watermark, with no fade, I can scale it to 200%.
It makes it blurry, but I guess it'll work.
Oh, I clicked Automatically Scale, and now it's the majority of the page except a little strip.

Well, there are always going to be very small margins where the printer cannot print because it is holding the paper, but you can minimize them.

Go to View, select Ruler, scroll over to the margin and drag it so there is no blue showing.

Good luck!

True, I guess I didn't think that it has to hold the paper.
I'm fine with a little bit of white, I could always just cut it.
But I just wanted the picture to be as big as possible.

I went to View, but I don't have a Ruler button.

Hmm, that's weird!
What version of word are you using, and on what type of computer?

Great! I found another solution for your version of Word:

On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Margins.Click the image to open in full size.

Specify your margin settings: Click Margins, click Custom Margins, and then in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right boxes, enter new values for the margins.

Let me know if this works!

There was still a little white strip on top, but it was better than the first try.

Oh darn. Ok, last try:
Can you grab the corners of your image and extend it past the page?

OR

Can you drag the image onto your desktop so it is a .png or .jpg file, cropping the design proportionally to an 8.5 by 11" paper, then print it straight from there and selecting "scale to fit" or "full page?"

I'm crossing my fingers!!
