Default Answered: Pulled muscles?

Okay so yesterday I forgot to stretch before I did chin-up's(and a few other things) now I'm REALLY sore. And I find it hard to move at all. Any tips or suggestions?

-edit-
I pulled muscles in my arms, legs, back, and my upper stomach.(around the rib area)

I've gotten plently of pulled-muscles, too. It's definitely not fun, so I have sympathy for you.

My biggest suggestion would be using a heating-pad, or purchasing icy-hot bandages. Both with add warmth to the muscles to loosen the strain. Once the muscles are feeling a bit better, I suggest tenderly massaging them to loosen them further.

I hope this helps- I also hope you feel better very quickly. And now you've learned your lesson- always, always stretch before physical activity.

Well I would not do those for a while.
Put some ice and heat on them.
In a few days they will be better than ever!

Heat can help relax muscles, but ice can take down inflamation - so going back and forth can help. Also, I've read that drinking chocolate milk is like the perfect thing for muscles after a workout. For some reason, it has exactly what your muscles need. You could try that. I hope you feel better soon.

You're welcome.
Yeah, that would work as well. As Desty said, though, it is best to also keep somehting cold like an ice pack covered in a thin layer of paper towel over the sore areas in between heat. That's one of the reasons I suggest icy-hot patches, as well.
