CrystalFlute, sounds like you have a great attitude. Sometimes I get to caught up in it.
I've been frustrated more and more as things are added but glitches increase each time.
I went out to buy those ornaments today so my daughter and I could both access the Christmas Tree on our accounts. Then, I got home and thought....was I crazy buying 6 of those? Part of me wants them all so we can get the cool fireplace, but you are right...we should be happy with what we can get for our Webkinz dollars.
It's ok to get caught up in it That's where the fun is!
Besides, it's really nice that you have something that you and your daughters can all share an enthusiasm for. It's fun collecting, and you're building many fond memories that you will always remember so you weren't crazy for buying 6 ornaments, in fact I'm glad you did! Your daughters will remember moments like these. Besides, eventually they might grow up and grow out of their webkinz phase, so you should enjoy it while it lasts
I have to say that I feel the same way as OP. My 3 granddaughters are losing interest as well. I seem to be the only one still obsessed with webkinz world because I know how to handle all the stress that comes a long with the glitches. My 3 grands are 7 - 9. I check all 3 of their accounts and do their dailies, etc on the days they don't have a chance (or the desire) and it is getting to be where I am taking care of them more and more. Not that I mind, it is just more opportunity for me. They each have 6 and I have gotten them 2 more for Christmas plus figurines. But if Ganz doesn't take care of the capacity problem and make it more user friendly for the kids, I am going to be taking care of 4 major accounts soon ALL the time!!
Humblepie, it sounds like we're on the same track. I'm trying to keep my girls accounts going but here in the near future even I will give up. Because if they never log in what is the point of having a lot of kinzcash they'll never use?
If that happens I won't let two years of work go to waste. I'll kinzpost all of their items to people on this board. No sense in letting it go to waste.
Hang in there Hambone. Though WW isn't for everyone, it has brought my kids lots of joy. Also, because I'm so interrested in it, it has given us something to share together. In fact, at times, it has only been my enthusiasm that has kept them interrested. Their interest has had highs and lows over the past year, but in the end, thsy would be really disappointed if thier account lapsed. My suggestion: explore this site. This site gives you so much more information about WW than the average user. For me, the more I know about WW, the more I love playing it. The more I love playing it, the more my kids love playing it too.
I sure wish/hope Ganz is watching/listening. As several have mentioned, Christmas is coming and I am asking myself can I, in good conscience, give gifts which DO NOT WORK? Who would give a broken toy to a child?
