I recently opened up an A/S shop, and I was going to make an order. I opened up Paint and I was trying to 'add color' to something. When I picked the color I wanted to use, the bucket thing filled it with gray instead of the color I wanted. I tried x'ing out and trying again, but still I got gray. Does anyone know how do fix this?!
My paint is probably different since I use Vista but this might help you anyway:
At the top where the toolbar is (file, edit etc...), click on Image. In the drop down, select Attributes. From there you can change the program settings that allow color. Make sure color is checked and not greyscale or black/white. I hope that helps.
I use Windows XP, and Paint sometimes does that. I don't know WHY it does that...but it sure is frustrating. Try restarting your computer a couple of times. If that doesn't work, I'm sorry but I don't know.
