Answered: Populaity? How do you make people come to your threads?
Does having more post and being gifted, gift trainee, gift guru make you more popular? Here is why I think it does:
First, I think it really does matter. Because of past experiences I think that when a person makes a thread that is part of the gift program or they have been on WI longer they get more attention. And If a webkinz ranked person or a lil kinz person makes a thread i think they don't get as much attention because MAYBE some people don't think they are good enough or something like that.
Do you have any advice to help more people look at your thread/post? If so please post.
Thank you,I hope I didn't offend anyone. I was just trying to get help.

One thing you can do is put a link in your signature, that way where ever you post people will see it. Also, you can advertise by going to the 'Avatar and Signature' section of WI and have someone make a banner for whatever your adversing.
I personally think it has more to do with it being a well written and informative thread than anything else. People who have been here longer and have acheived some of the statuses you have mentioned may know some things that newer people might not which means that their threads may receive more attention then a newer persons would because it may be more information. This is just my opinion though.

I don't think it has anything to do with popularity at all. It depends on what your thread is about. If there are already 10 threads with the same topic chances are some of them won't be posted on as much as others.
If your thread is about say Jonas brothers, only certain people will be interested in that thread so only some people will visit it.
Never have I ignored a thread or went to a thread because of an author never crossed my mind at all. If it sparks my interest I drop by, maybe I reply maybe not. Depends ...
But seriously having a rank doesn't mean anything at all, it is a title nothing more it doesn't mean a person is better liked it's just a title.
How a person represents themselves is what gets attention in life, not what their title is
Well, I get people to come to my threads because I'm in sort of a group of friends here on W.I. I love to roleplay, and do Creative Writing, so when one of my "friends" sees my thread, they go on. I also try to make others feel good by looking for threads that don't have any responses.
